Coverage, plant details and accuracy

Every report shows how complete the telemetry was, what is installed, and whether energy flows balance. Figures below are from an illustrative sample report.

Data coverage

98.4%

Missing or low-quality periods are flagged so you know what may affect accuracy.

Plant details

Location, inverter, PV capacity and installed equipment are listed up front.

System accuracy

Within tolerance

Inverter measurements are checked so energy flows reconcile within acceptable limits.

Sample report

With a report versus without

An executive verdict with savings and next steps, not raw inverter charts you have to decode yourself. Scores and kWh figures below are illustrative.

With a Sunsynk Report

Clear answers from about 30 days of readings.

Working, but 65 pts below the local median

Closing the efficiency gap could avoid about 439 kWh of grid import per month.

  • Executive overview

Score, top issue, savings hint and recommended actions in one place.

  • Trusted readings

Coverage quality and accuracy checks called out clearly.

  • Solar and battery depth

Peers, timing, clipping and battery use explained in homeowner language.

  • Evening cost focus

How well stored energy cuts grid import when rates are often highest.

  • Prioritised PDF

Behaviour, configuration and hardware actions ranked by impact.

Without a report

Raw inverter dashboards, no verdict.

  • No executive verdict

Hard to tell if the system is truly doing its job.

  • Unclear data quality

Gaps and inconsistencies stay buried in charts.

  • No savings picture

    No estimate versus all-grid electricity.

  • No ranked inefficiencies

Solar, battery and evening issues compete without priority.

  • Nothing clear to act on

No shareable plan for you or your installer.

What's in the report

Solar, battery and evening analysis

The report groups technical chapters so you can see what is holding performance back without reading sixteen separate titles first.

Solar

Production benchmarking, use timing, weather-expected performance and inverter clipping.

  • Specific yield versus nearby Sunsynk systems
  • Self-sufficiency, export and storage opportunity
  • Clipping events before chasing hardware upgrades

Battery

Operating indicators plus the detailed evidence behind utilisation, cycling and temperature.

  • How effectively the battery is being used
  • State of charge patterns and lifespan factors
  • Daily trends that explain each assessment

Evening cost

Evening grid dependency when electricity is often most expensive.

  • How stored energy cuts evening grid import
  • Scheduling and configuration opportunities
  • Where evening demand still leans on the grid

Actions

Prioritised next steps

Findings consolidate into a ranked plan: behavioural changes, configuration improvements and hardware upgrades.

Behaviour

  • Shift heavy evening loads earlier while solar or battery cover is available
  • Review habit patterns that drive peak grid import

Configuration

  • Adjust battery reserve and discharge timing for evening peaks
  • Tighten export and self-use settings before buying more capacity

Hardware

  • Consider storage or PV only after clipping and scheduling are reviewed
  • Share the PDF with your installer when an upgrade case is clear

Assumptions, measured versus estimated values, analysis scope and disclaimers appear in Important Information at the end of every report.

FAQ

Answers about reports and credits

Sign-in, credits, tariffs, and what a report covers.

What is inside a Sunsynk Performance Report?

A shareable PDF from about 30 days of plant readings. It moves from an executive overview into data coverage, optional estimated savings, overall health, energy flows, solar and battery analysis, evening grid dependency, accuracy checks, and prioritised recommendations.

Is there a subscription?

No. One credit equals one report. Buy Starter (1), Classic (3), or Pro (6) when you need them. Credits never expire. Unused credits from a purchase can be refunded within 14 days via the Credits page.

Can I trust the data?

Before generation, the app checks about 30 days of telemetry coverage and asks you to confirm if coverage is thin. Each report also includes data coverage, plant details, and a system accuracy check. Assumptions and limitations sit in Important Information in the PDF.

Who is the report for?

Sunsynk account holders. Sign in with your Sunsynk email and password. Installers may also use the PDF when supporting a homeowner aftercare conversation.

How does report generation work?

Sign in at app.sunsynkreports.com, buy credits if your balance is zero, optionally save a tariff under Settings for estimated savings, then generate a report for a plant. You can leave the page while it prepares; when ready, preview and download the PDF. One credit is used per report.
